Veteran Marathi actor Vijay Kadam passed away at the age of 67

Vijay Kadam Passes Away: Veteran actor Vijay Kadam, who ruled Marathi theatre between the 80s and 90s, passed away today, August 10. The actor breathed his last at his residence in Andheri at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife and son. Vijay Kadam's body will be cremated at the crematorium in Oshiwara this afternoon.

Jaywant Wadkar confirmed the death of Vijay Kadam 

Vijay Kadam's death was confirmed by his actor friend Jaywant Wadkar. Jaywant Wadkar shared this sad news and said, "Vijay Kadam was fighting cancer bravely. Initially, he recovered, but later his health deteriorated. About 25 days ago, he also suffered an acidity attack. He was extremely talented. From Marathi cinema to Hindi films, he did many types of projects in his decades-long career. It is impossible to find an actor like him again. His death has left a void in the industry. He is like my family".

Vijay Kadam worked in many Marathi films

Vijay Kadam earned praise for his acting in dramas like 'Turtur', 'Vicha Majhi Poori Kara' and 'Pappa Sanga Kunache'. His role in the serial Alia was a topic of special discussion. He also worked in Marathi films like De Danadan, De Dhadak Bedhadak, Irsal Karti, Tere Mere Sapne. His role in the Marathi film Halad Rusli Kunku Haslam became a topic of special discussion.
