Vidya Balan praised Tabu, said- 'I like her very much...'

Kartik Aaryan's film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is all set to release. Vidya Balan is making a comeback as Manjulika in the film after 17 years. Let us tell you that the role of Manjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was played by Tabu. Meanwhile, Vidya Balan talked about her admiration for Tabu. The actress told what inspired her to sign Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 after rejecting the sequel.

Vidya said this about Tabu

In fact, Vidya Balan in her recent interview said that though she was not a part of the sequel, she really praised Tabu in it. Praising her, Vidya Balan said, “I love Tabu. I don’t think I have spoken to her after the film. I haven’t met her for years. But I have always said that Tabu is one of those actresses who makes everything look like she is just drinking water. She is very effortless. I remember in the early years when I saw her do Maachis, Astitva and her comedy films, I thought she was like water. She flows through everything. Whatever she does, she is always amazing!”

Because of this Vidya was not seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Vidya Balan turned down Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 because she feared that the impact of her character might get spoilt and she wanted it to remain 'untouched'. So, what prompted her to be a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3? She said, “I saw Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and thought it was a good, fun film! When they came back to me with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, I thought it was a brilliant script and I had a great role in it. It was the same team that made it. That's when I felt I was ready for it.” 

Vidya Balan was nervous about this

Vidya Balan revealed that even while reading the script of the threequel, she was nervous about how the character would play out and what impact it would have on the franchise. The actress said, "I think it was just a matter of timing. And even when I was reading the script, I couldn't imagine touching Bhool Bhulaiyaa because it was so sacred to me. After so many years, which film gives you anything other than Bhool Bhulaiyaa! I think I was trying to keep it safe."

The film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' will be released on Diwali

In 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3', Kartik Aaryan will fight two Manjulikas, whose characters will be played by Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. Tripti Dimri will be seen playing the role of Kartik Aaryan's girlfriend in the film. This horror-comedy film will hit the theatres on 1 November on the occasion of Diwali. Apart from Kartik Aaryan, Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit, 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3' has a great supporting cast, which includes Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raj, Ashwini Kalsekar, Rajesh Sharma, Sanjay Mishra and others. Not only this, 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3' will clash with Rohit Shetty's Singham Again.
