On November 18th, the Udaipur police issued a lookout notice against Vikram Bhatt, his wife Shwetambari Bhatt, and others. Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal stated that Dr. Ajay Murdia of Udaipur filed a case against Vikram Bhatt at the Bhupalpura police station. The producer is accused of committing a fraud of ₹30 crore in exchange for a ₹200 crore reward. Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal stated, "The complainant filed an FIR alleging that, in memory of his late wife, he entered into an agreement with Vikram Bhatt's company to produce several films and documentaries. The complainant paid a sum to Vikram Bhatt's company and was contracted to produce four films. The production house failed to produce the films as per the contract, and the two films that were produced were not properly credited. Production on the highest-budget film never began. An investigation is underway, and appropriate action will be taken."
