Vikrant Massey talked about his father's struggle

In fact, in his recent interview, Vikrant Massey said, "It was tough for my father. He found it difficult to raise a family of four, including himself. Because of his challenges, everything he had done. It was a life of prosperity, success, but suddenly, it disappeared. It's a long story, but to put it in a nutshell, it was a family feud. It was a classic story of the 1970s, a fight in a joint family. He probably couldn't start it again the way he wanted. But he did whatever he could to the best of his ability."

When Vikrant's father called him to his office

One day, when he was a teenager, Vikrant was in desperate need of money. His father called him to his office, and he went in expecting a swanky desk and a pleasant atmosphere. What he saw shook him to his core. His tired father was sitting dejectedly in a chair. There was no swanky office or desk, but an ashtray full of cigarette butts. And when he received an envelope of cash from him, he realised how valuable it was. "I decided the role reversal was appropriate".

'I was tired of wearing worn-out clothes' - Vikrant

Talking about his other motivations behind living a life of opulence, he said, "I was fed up of wearing worn out clothes, even shoes. Wearing clothes was not a big problem but when you have to wear someone else's shoes, it is horrible. No matter how much I clean them, they still smell like someone else." When asked if he did not have money to buy shoes, Vikrant said, "Most of the times. Then I decided that even if I go to Fashion Street and buy a T-shirt for Rs 100, I will buy it because it will be new."

Vikrant said this about the behavior of people

Vikrant said that after he became rich, he started being treated differently. He said, "People started saying good morning to me in a very different way, as soon as I got a bigger car, they started shaking hands in a very different way. I didn't want to compromise like my elder brother. He is a very big-hearted person, but he compromised. He wanted to do a lot of things, which he couldn't do. He compromised, he sacrificed, he compromised, and I use these words very carefully. I didn't want to do that".
