Virat Kohli announced his retirement
Let us tell you that Virat Kohli shared the information about his retirement from Test cricket on Instagram on 12 May. The cricketer posted on Instagram and wrote, "It has been 14 years since I first wore the baggy blue in Test cricket. Honestly, I never imagined what journey this format would take me on. It tested me, shaped me and taught me lessons that I will carry with me for a lifetime. Playing in white is a very personal experience. Quiet hard work, long days, small moments that no one sees but which stay with you forever. As I step away from this format, it is not easy - but it feels right. I have given it my all and it has given me more than I expected. I am leaving with a heart full of gratitude. For the game, for the people with whom I shared the field and for every single person who saw me during this time. I will always look back at my Test career with a smile. #269, Signing off.
