War 2 Teaser: Ayan Mukerji Praises Hrithik, Kiara & Jr NTR in Big Statement

War 2: Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr NTR are soon going to share screen space in Ayan Mukerji 's film 'War 2'. Recently, the teaser of the film War 2 was released, which made the fans very excited. Meanwhile, now director Ayan Mukherjee has spoken openly about his much-awaited project War 2 for the first time.

Let us tell you that today, on 23 May, Ayan Mukerji shared BTS photos with Jr NTR, Kiara Advani, and Hrithik Roshan from the sets of War 2 on Instagram. In this post, he expressed his excitement and said that he felt this was the right time to share his thoughts. Sharing these photos (Ayan Mukerji Instagram Post), Ayan Mukherjee wrote, "A few days ago, the teaser of our film was released, and 12 weeks are left for our big, beautiful film to hit the theaters. I think this is the right time for me to share some thoughts. While our film has a lot to show the audience on the big screen, today I want to draw attention to what inspires me the most about War 2".

Continuing his point, Ayan Mukerji further wrote, "The core of this film is a very powerful and dramatic story - which really shocked me when I first heard the script, and bringing it to life has been extremely exciting and challenging for me and hence, as we are receiving so much love and conversation for the first look of the film, I want everyone to experience the real journey of the story of this film - which I think is a new and deep dive into the spy universe genre! But since this is not the time to reveal everything".

With this, the producer wrote that "This is actually the first time I am officially saying something about directing War 2, I just want to express some love to the amazing team I have had the privilege of collaborating with on this film. Here's a special mention to my darling Kiara, who is a ray of sunshine in the film and a dear friend in my life today but especially - the 3 major forces who laid the foundation for me to make this ambitious film"!

Talking about Hrithik Roshan and NTR, Ayan Mukerji wrote, "Absolutely amazing leadership of Mr Aditya Chopra from whom I have learned so much over the last two years and who gave me this incredible opportunity to collaborate with a one-time pair Mr Hrithik Roshan and NTR! I can't wait for our audience to experience the magical work done by these two legends in War 2. Not only with their mega movie-star energy but also with the drama and depth they bring to their characters! There's a lot more to share in the coming days, but for now, just expressing my gratitude for our teaser drop and sharing a lot of excited energy for our audience to discover a lot of War 2 magic in the days to come."

War 2 will be released on August 14, 2025 

War 2 is one of the most awaited films of Indian cinema. Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani are in the lead roles. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji. War 2 is scheduled to release on August 14, 2025 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 action thriller War, which starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this high-octane action drama collected over ₹400 crore worldwide.
