A special court in Mumbai has issued a non-bailable warrant against Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in connection with the firing case at Bollywood actor Salman Khan's house

The court also issued a warrant against Rohit Godera, an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang; both have been absconding since being named in the charge sheet earlier this month

The incident occurred after Anmol Bishnoi delivered a nine-minute "motivational" audio message to the shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, encouraging them to perform the task well and make history

Anmol's speech to the shooters emphasized not being afraid and aimed to instill fear in Salman Khan, instructing them to avoid wearing helmets and smoking cigarettes to appear fearless

On June 4, 2024, Salman Khan recorded his statement with the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch, claiming the Lawrence Bishnoi gang intended to kill him and his family

Khan stated that shots were fired outside his Galaxy Apartment in April, and Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the incident via a Facebook post

The firing occurred on April 14, with Vicky Kumar Gupta and Sagar Pal firing five rounds outside Khan's residence The police arrested several individuals the next day, including Vicky Gupta, Sagar Pal, and others.

One of the arrested individuals, Anuj Kumar Thapan, later committed suicide in jail
