Imtiaz, who worked with Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met, reflected on not working with the actor all these years and told News 18, "Whenever you work with an actor, there's this responsibility too. “You don't do anything just for the sake of doing it. The idea is to come back together only when you have a better or completely different project than before." Imtiaz Ali said on working with Kareena Imtiaz Ali said, "Kareena and I are very fond of working with each other, but to date, we have not had a chance to work again because whatever we have done, there was nothing different or unique or better.” There was speculation about 'Jab We Met 2' on social media. Ruling out such possibilities, Imtiaz Ali said, "It has to be something interesting, otherwise it's useless. We don't want to tarnish the memories of 'Jab We Met'.
