Shah Rukh Khan is a Bollywood veteran who has faced the ups and downs of life to reach where he is today. So, when he gives any advice related to professional or personal life, the younger generation like Parineeti Chopra holds it close to their heart. So, when the actress reached an interview with Sidharth Malhotra, she revealed that King Khan once suggested she not look 'too natural' on screen.
Shahrukh gave this advice
In 2019, Sidharth Malhotra joined Parineeti Chopra for an interview with Anupama Chopra at Film Companion Studio. While they were talking about their film Jabariya Jodi, the actress went down memory lane and recalled the professional advice given to her by Shah Rukh Khan during an event. The Amar Singh Chamkila actress said that she was at a party with Shah Rukh, which also included her co-star Sidharth. Parineeti revealed that while she was talking to King Khan, he said something like, "Sometimes it is wrong to be too natural on screen."
Elaborating on this, Chopra said that it seems that people think that they feel confident or feel the character or the performance. But that doesn't necessarily translate on screen. She added that this is why sometimes actors have to up their acting game. The Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl actress further added that senior actor and acting coach Anupam Kher also told her the same thing. So, then she realized that there is something called filmi abhinaya, which means that there is a little more to it than what is felt. "Where I always felt that if I am feeling or I am natural or at ease, then that is enough, but sometimes it is not," Parineeti said.
Work Front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Pari is currently working on an untitled project. A few days ago, she shared several inside glimpses from the sets of her next film. Speaking in the caption, the actress expressed, "December was indeed December! Shot for my film in Goa, Pune and Bombay. Delhi cold for 2 days. Fell sick on set but did the night shift. Went to Sri Lanka with my team. Some soul healing with R. Spicy home food and about 20 flights on vacation! And I would love to do it all again."
