During the event, Aamir admitted to feeling anxious about the audience's reaction before the film's release.

In a recent interview, Aamir Khan said, “When Junaid’s film Maharaj was released, I was very anxious about whether people would like his work or not. Junaid has worked really hard for this and never asked for any help from me. So, I am very proud and happy that he made it on his own terms, and you know, I can see that.”

During the party, Aamir also spoke about his relationship with producer Ashok Pandit and his son Raj Pandit. He mentioned that he sympathizes with Ashok Pandit as he recently experienced the emotions of a parent debuting a child. Aamir revealed that he and Ashok have known each other since college, which has forged a strong bond between them. When Ashok invited Aamir to his son's event, Aamir agreed without hesitation, considering his recent experience as a father.
Maharaj Faced Legal Issues
Junaid Khan faced challenges with his debut film Maharaj when it encountered legal issues. Members of a specific religious group filed a petition against the film in the Gujarat High Court, causing a delay in its release on Netflix. However, after a brief suspension, the court ruled that the film did not target any particular religion and allowed its release.
Junaid Khan’s Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Junaid Khan will soon be seen in a romantic entertainer with Sai Pallavi, tentatively titled Ek Din. Additionally, he is working on a film with Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. Directed by Advait Chandan, this movie is an official adaptation of the hit Tamil film Love Today. As for Aamir Khan, the actor is set to make a comeback with a film titled Sitare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna. The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh.
