‘Chura liya hai' '70s romantic-hero Vijay Arora

Surely, you will recall the Bollywood 'jawaan-dilon-ki-dhadkan' yesteryear romantic hero of the '70s, 'late'  actor Vijay Arora who passed away in 2007, following a critical illness, at a young age. It's now his 77th birth anniversary. It’s a wonderful coincidence, that the handsome Vijay shared his birthday (Dec 27th) with that of macho-superstar Salman Khan.

The ‘zinda-dil’ jolly-natured Vijay (also appreciated for his Meghnad-Indrajit formidable role in mytho-TV show Ramayana)  would have possibly felt proud that his only son Dr. Farhad Vijay Arora (PhD) is now an active socio-political activist-worker.  Speaking exclusively to this senior film journalist ( who also personally knew his dad Vijay)  the multi-talented son Farhad shares, “ It's my honor that recently I have been formally appointed in an important BJP party Mumbai-centric post (“VP- Sachiv-K-Mo-Mumbai”) by senior BJP Leaders including Sunil Ganacharya-jee, Dr. Amit Bhosle-jee and .Adv. Zinnal Harshad Patel-jee  In fact I am already attending Party meetings and have started interacting with people. At the moment, my work-scope includes addressing employees' issues, labour, medical, human resources and human rights etc of entire Mumbai city," informs versatile Farhad who also justifies his major decision to deviate  into active politics.
Reacts Farhad, "Some of the chartbuster retro-songs picturised on my dad (Vijay Arora and Zeenat Aman) especially the iconic 'Chura Liya Hai Tumne' and  'Meri Soni, Meri Tamanna ' still continue to be head sung and danced to by the masses. Over the years, in my marketing -production and occasional acting-roles career, my secret wish was-- some day I should also win hearts of millions,  Just like my dad did on screen. In fact, Dec 27th was my Dad's 77th birth anniversary. Backed by the top BJP leaders, like Adv.Ashish Shelar-jee, Ameet Satam-jee, Dr.Bharati Lavekar-jee, and Renu Hansraj-jee and inspired by Hon'ble Home Minister Amit A.C..Shah-jee and our Hon’ble PM Modi-jee’s dynamic vision, I  hope to soon fulfill my dream,  by dedicating myself to social welfare,  and winning the love of the masses. At the same time, I plan to allocate time for my creative pursuits, whenever time permits," assures the yesteryear matinee-idol Vijay’s son Farhad who has been previously associated previous with top premium brands and iconic Southside regional film banners and projects for marketing and finance.
