Why scary thriller movie ‘Shaitaan’ villain R.Madhavan considers Ajay Devgn as the ‘real-life-Singham’ ? by Chaitanya Padukone

Versatile mega-star R.Madhavan is both modest and honest. Speaking at the  ‘trailer launch of his upcoming scary, supernatural movie ‘Shaitaan’, the charismatic Madhavan ( also current President of  ‘FTII-Pune’)  was highly praising his co-star and co-producer Ajay Devgn.   “ All these years I have been a huge fan of stalwart versatile actor Ajay Devgn’s intense and comic performances.. of  (Singham, Drishyam, Golmaal series). But even in real life, I feel he is a  large-hearted Singham. While shooting with him for ‘Shaitaan’, it was the first time I was working with him. I was very impressed with his maturity, his passion, and his dedication. Especially his large-hearted inclusive nature allowing some other actors like me to grab the limelight. By allowing me to play the powerful negative role of ‘Shaitaan’,” shared the National Film Award recipient Madhavan (of landmark movies  ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘3 Idiots’ fame)

The slick, taut trailer of the supernatural thriller  ‘Shaitaan’ directed by maverick film-maker Vikas Bahl ( of ‘Queen’ ‘Super 30’ and ‘Goodbye’ fame)  which has a fantastic cast of Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Jyothika and Janki Bodiwala promises an edge-of-the-seat supernatural thriller with shocks and jolts and haunting background music. The film which has outstanding performances of female characters by Jyothika and Janki ( as on-screen mother and daughter ) is being released on Friday, March 8^th, which also happens to be International Women’s Day.    

The highly anticipated supernatural thriller ‘Shaitaan’ has captured the intrigue of moviegoers since its teaser release. The film brings together powerhouse talents and promises a thrilling experience like never before.

 As expected, the trailer takes us on a roller-coaster ride of heart-thumping adrenaline moments, giving a glimpse into the world of Shaitaan.

The film takes the audience on a journey with Kabir and his family as their fun weekend retreat takes a nightmarish turn when they let a friendly, handsome but mysterious stranger into their house. As the clock ticks, the family will be forced to confront their worst fears in this gripping tale that deals with the sinister scary elements of Indian ‘black magic’.
