Will Fatima Sana Shaikh play Yuvraj Singh's girlfriend in his biopic?

Yuvraj Singh biopic: A biopic is going to be made on Yuvraj Singh, one of the brightest stars in the world of cricket. This film has been announced recently. At the same time, the latest information related to the cricketer's biopic is that actress Fatima Sana Shaikh will reportedly play the role of Yuvraj's girlfriend in the film.

Actually, according to the information received, "The team is considering Fatima Sana Shaikh to play the role of Yuvraj Singh's girlfriend in his biopic. Although nothing much has been heard about this from the actress or the producers, there are strong chances that she may be seen playing an important role in the film". The makers have not yet decided on the lead male actor for the film.

The biopic was announced recently

Let us tell you that on 20 August 2024, the makers shared a post on social media and informed that a biopic is going to be made on Yuvraj Singh. The makers tweeted, "Relive the legend's journey from the pitch to the hearts of millions. The story of Yuvraj Singh's patience and pride is coming to the big screen soon".

T-Series head Bhushan Kumar is producing the biopic

T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, known for films like Animal and Kabir Singh, is working closely with producer Ravi Bhagchandka to bring Yuvraj's story to life. Ravi had earlier backed Sachin Tendulkar's documentary, Sachin: A Billion Dreams, in 2017. The film will recreate a memorable moment from Yuvraj's long career: he smashed six sixes in a single over against England bowler Stuart Broad during India's 2007 T20 World Cup-winning campaign. His contribution to India's 2011 World Cup win, where he was the Player of the Series, will also be showcased in the film. In 2011, Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer and his battle and triumphant return to cricket in 2012 is expected to be another highlight. Yuvraj announced his retirement from international cricket in 2019.
