The grand ‘World Music Day’ was celebrated in Mumbai in a unique classical way with flavors of western-fusion. With blessings and appreciation from iconic classical global music legends guests like Padma Vibhushan flautist Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Suresh Wadkar, Anup Jalota, Talat Aziz, Hariharan, Ram Shankar, Rakesh Pandit, and Roopkumar Rathod,   who were present, eminent composer-musician Deepak Pandit successfully hosted his three-dimensional musical event.

On the harmonious occasion of World Music Day ( June 21st), renowned musician (ace violinist) ) and composer-music entrepreneur  Deepak Pandit proudly announced the launch of his highly anticipated Music Label and YouTube channel, "DP Music”. But the major third highlight of the evening event was also the resonant yet soothing raga-based duet song  ‘Kaise Jiyein’ composed by him ( Deepak) sung by his talented trained-singer son Sameer  Pandit along with global rock-star playback singer Shreya Ghoshal.   This unique platform he said, will cater exclusively to raag-based music, presenting a blend of original songs with a modern ( fusion) twist that promises to deliver an unprecedented divine musical experience.

"DP Music" stands out by offering compositions grounded in rich Indian classical music, featuring 10 thaats, traditional raags, ragini, and innovative combinations of raags. The music label and channel aims to re-define the boundaries of classical music. Ensuring that every musical note holds a golden value. It will cater to the concept of Eight Prahar, providing compositions suitable for every part of the day.

The label and channel’s debut was marked by an enchanting duet featuring the voices of *Shreya Ghoshal and Sameer Pandit, music by Deepak Pandit with lyrics by Panchhi Jalonvi in “Kaise Jiyein” setting a high standard for the musical journey ahead right up to year 2025.  The inauguration of "DP Music" was graced by renowned personalities further solidifying the channel’s dedication to excellence in classical music,

Globally acclaimed star-singer Shreya Ghoshal who is currently overseas for a series of live concerts sent her video message.  ”Being part of 'Kaise Jiyein' and collaborating with DP Music has been an incredible experience. Revered singer-composer Hariharan said, “ For me, every day is Music Day, it’s my passion life-line,’. The jovial swar-samrat Anup Jalota wittily remarked that great singers and musicians are sent to this world, only after receiving a life-long injection-dose of immense musical talent, given during birth by the Divine Powers.  Which is why they exhibit their in-born prodigy-talent at such an early age,” smiled Anup-jee even as he blessed talented singer Sameer Pandit.
