Yash as Ravana & Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1 is one of the most awaited films of Bollywood. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita , the film will be released in theaters on Diwali 2026. At present, the star cast of Ramayana is almost decided. While Yash will be seen in the role of Ravana. So now news is coming that actress Kajal Aggarwal will play the character of Yash   i.e. Ravana 's wife Mandodari .

Let us tell you. South superstar Yash has been chosen by the makers to play the role of Ravana in the film 'Ramayana Part 1'. Now according to the information received from sources, "Kajal Aggarwal gave her look test last week. After which the actress will now play the role of Mandodari opposite Yash. She has recently started shooting for this part. The producers are currently shooting the part of Ravana's Lanka".

Sunny Deol will play Hanuman in Ramayana

Actually, in an interview Sunny Deol said, "I am working as Hanuman in 'Ramayana'. Yes, it is true". When the actor was asked if he is religious, Deol replied, "Who doesn't believe in God? We exist because of God".

Ravi Dubey will be seen in the role of Laxman

During an interview, Ravi Dubey confirmed that he will play the role of Lord Lakshman in Ramayan: Part 1 and 2. The actor said, "I am playing the role of Lakshman in the film. I have finally got permission from the producers to reveal this. I did not talk about this yet because I did not want to make an irresponsible statement and spoil the plans of Namit Malhotra and Nitesh sir to reveal about the cast".

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama in 'Ramayana', Sai Pallavi will play Sita, while Yash has confirmed that he will play the powerful Ravana. The film also stars Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Sheeba Chaddha, Arun Govil and Lara Dutta as Manthra, Indira Krishnan. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the first installment of Ramayana is set for a grand release on Diwali 2026, with the sequel releasing on Diwali 2027. According to media reports, Jaideep Ahlawat was approached to play the role of Ravana's righteous brother Vibhishana in Ramayana. While he was reportedly keen to be a part of the project, he had to give up the opportunity due to commitments and scheduling.
