Sharing the post, the South actor wrote, "My dear well-wishers, as the new year begins, it is a time for reflection, resolution and setting a new path. The love you all have showered on me over the years is unprecedented. But, there have been some unfortunate incidents as well".

Continuing his point, Yash further wrote, "It's time to change the language of our love, especially when it comes to my birthday celebrations. Expressing your love should not be in grand gestures and celebrations. The biggest gift for me is knowing that you are safe, setting positive examples, achieving your goals, and spreading happiness. I will be busy shooting and will not be in town on my birthday. However, the warmth of your wishes will always reach me and be my constant companion, energizing my soul and inspiring me. Talking about the work front, Yash will soon be seen in Toxic and Nitesh Tiwari directed Ramayana. Yash Lankesh will play the role of Ravana in Ramayana, while Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Shri Ram and Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Mata Sita in the film.
