She stressed that there are always options and if one is determined they can always go for them.

"Lifestyle changes can be expensive but there are always alternatives. You don't need a costly gym membership, you can work out at home, put on some music and dance or go on a walk and neither you need fancy organic food to stay fit, you can buy healthy food items on a budget. As long as you want to stay fit and healthy you can have plenty of options," she said.

Speaking on the occasion of World Health Day, which is observed on April 7, the young actress shared that social media is a great platform to create more awareness about health, adding, "since everyone is using it more and more people can know about different health issues through it because I feel there nothing is more important than health.

I always tell people that you have to live with your body and it should be well taken care of." However, she believes that health is not just limited to physical health but also includes mental and emotional health.

She said, "If you are not mentally and emotionally healthy you and your body can't function in the right way. If you are not feeling right it will affect you physically.

It all goes hand in hand. If you are physically well, then you can take care of your emotional and mental health too."

"Health is wealth because if you are not healthy you won't be able to function properly, your mind won't work and your life will go for a toss. So it's really important that you take care of your body, mind and soul," she added.

Jasmin also revealed that being an actor doesn't come easy and her health suffered a great deal because of the erratic work schedule and odd working hours.

She admitted, "I have in fact suffered a lot in the past because of hectic work schedules, and odd working hours, and it made me realise that my health should be my first priority.

Since then I have made some rules that I will only work for a certain number of hours in a day, I get proper sleep and I have my meals on time.

These strict lifestyle changes have really helped me a lot and I can see a significant difference in my health as compared to before."

But following these lifestyle changes have also not been easy. "Sometimes when you are shooting in remote areas or you are working at odd hours, it's not always easy to eat on time or follow a diet, sometimes you need to eat whatever is available and sometimes you need to skip a meal because the schedule is such," she said.

Sharing two things that she follows and two things she avoids to keep her physical, mental and emotional health in check, Jasmin said, "I drink a lot of water and get proper sleep for 6-7 hours.

I avoid late-night munching and my mental health is very important for me so I avoid meeting toxic people or people with negative energy."
