LIKE FATHER LIKE SON

Fathers play a very important role in our lives. We all follow his footsteps and try to be like him. Singer Moin Sabri feels the same and says that he tries to follow his father so that he can be a little like him.The "Judaai" singer shared that he was never very open to his father, and was rather very shy, however, his love and respect for him was no less.Speaking on the occasion of Father's Day, which is celebrated on June 21, he said, "There are many lessons that I learnt from my father and I have applied them in my life. I am very much connected with my mother and a little shy with my father. There has always been a distance between us because I left my home very early. When I used to stay at home I used to be afraid of him, I was never very open to him but my respect and love for him was no less."

"Things which I learnt from him is that he is a very good singer and he writes very well too and his connection with Urdu is amazing so I try to follow that so that I can be a little like him," he added.Talking about his father, Moin said that he is a very positive person and he stays happy no matter what the situation is.He further added, "It’s my bad luck that earlier I got very less time to spend with him, so now when I go home I try to spend as much quality time I can with him. The best part is that when we all come together, he recites Shayari for us."Sharing a fondest memory of his father, he said, "My fondest memory is that when he wrote a Urdu Shayari book, titled Rubaru, and during the launch of the book I gave a speech about my father and the book of course. It was a very proud moment for me. I call him Abba and I always say that whatever I will do I will always try to make you proud and happy."
