Lokhandwala Celebrities Stage Dharna Against Removal Of Kabutar Khana

Mohammedali Budhwani and Riyaz bhati  staged a protest along with other celebrities on the evening of 9th March for reinstating the semi-demolished Kabutar Khana at the Lokhandwala Bridge in Andheri West.

“It is in-humanitarian to deprive the poor birds by snatching away their feeding ground,” opined celebrity-philanthropists Riyaz Bhati, Shakeel Hashmi, Mehboob Khan, Naghma Khan and others during the dharna to raise their voice against the inhuman decision of Municipal Authorities.

"Don’t the innocent pigeons deserve to get protection by us for saving the age-old Kabutar Khana? It is very pathetic of the Municipal Authorities to remove or relocate this Kabutar Khana which existed in the locality since over 40-50 years," spoke Mohammedali Budhwani.

“Despite our several representations, the Municipal Authorities have turned a blind eye towards the opposition to shift or close down the Kabutar Khana from the locals,” said Shakeel hashmi &Naghma khan ...
