The film is inspired by a play written by Rabindranath Tagore. The first poster of the film has been flashed, showing a girl hiding behind a statue with a mustache in her hand.

Whose face is this and what exactly does it mean, is in the bouquet right now. The film is set to start shooting in London soon and slated for release later this year.

Director Jalindar Gangaram Kumbhar says about 'London Misal', "I have done films and serials before, now after a long time I am directing Marathi films once again.

It is a great pleasure for me to have the opportunity to work with Subhash Ghai for the first time on the occasion of this film. Speaking of this film, I have tried to give the impression that the Marathi audience will like it in 'London Misal'.
