MADHUBALA’S WAX STATUE UNVEILED AT MADAME TUSSAUDS DELHI
“Evergreen beauty remains forever”—legendary actress Madhubala’s recently unveiled wax statute at Madame Tussauds in Delhi on Thursday just proves this statement true.
Revealed on Thursday, the statue shows Madhubala in one of her most iconic avatars—that of Anarkali from Mughal-e-Azam. Obviously, fans of the late actress were delighted. The late actress’ sister, Madhur Brij, was present at the event and told the media, “I can’t express how happy I am looking at this. Thank you everyone for remembering her and still keeping her in your hearts. Madhubala lived a short life but achieved a lot in that short span of time. In those days, acting was not considered appropriate for women but with her remarkable acting skills and timeless beauty she created a mark for herself and is remembered with warmth till date.”
Apart from Madhubala’s statue, Madam Tussauds Delhi will also have wax figures of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and American pop queen Lady Gaga. Meanwhile, veteran singer Asha Bhosle’s wax statue is also being readied for Madame Tussauds. Madame Tussauds Delhi is located in the heart of the city in Connaught Place.
