Madhumita Biswas To Make Her Debut In Films With Suspense

Pretty and sprightly Madhumita Biswas hails from Chattisgarh but speaks Bengali fluently as her mother tongue is Bengali. She has acted in TV serials like TV Biwi Aur Main, Pavitra Bandhan and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in a span of just three years since she came to Mumbai armed with a degree in acting from Nagpur and since then has not looked back. Madhumita is all set to make her debut in Hindi films with producer-director Ajay Yadav’s film Suspense in which she plays a sweet, simple and loving housewife called Anandita opposite TV star Vikram Sharma who plays the lead. Believe it or not, the beauty with brains is actually has a Masters in Biotechnology. Suspense is slated for release on January 18 this year and has competitors like Cheat India and Rangeela Raja. Madhumita is a staunch fan of Deepika Padukone and wants to not only hone up career too like her and do films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat like her but since she is single today, also succeed in getting hooked by a young and smart guy who is as energetic as Deepika’s husband actor Ranveer Singh with a lot of adrenaline.

Madhumita is keen on doing different roles and not get typed in any particular slot though as an actress since she has the discipline of TV does not mind even if she is offered negative roles in films as long as they are challenging to the core, especially since she  does not want to limit herself as an actress  but explore and learn a lot as an actress by doing dynamically different roles. Madhumita signs off by telling me emphatically that though she is game to do web series, she is not inclined to be part of Bhojpuri films at all. When asked if she was ready to shed her clothes and inhibitions if the role demanded, she said that though she would say no to nudity, she is game otherwise if only the script and her character demanded that she indulged in lip to lip kisses or appear in glamorous costumes within limits of decency.
