It's been only two days since we have lost our Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar on Sunday, the whole nation has not gotten over it yet and now another Veteran actor Praveen Kumar Sobti dies at the age of 74 due to Heart attack.
The actor was well known for essaying the role Bheem in BR Chopra's Mahabharat, his daughter Nikunika reveals the information to media that "The actor passed away yesterday around 9:30 PM due to the Heart attack at home in Delhi.”
BR Chopra's mythological drama Mahabharat was the most epic television series in late 1980's, BR Chopra produced the series and his son Ravi Chopra directed the show, they both have given their best to covers all the incidents of Mahabharata which revolves around Krishna, Pandavas, Kauravas among other characters in 94 Episode from 2 October 1988 to 24 June 1990, and was broadcasted on Doordarshan.
Apart from playing the role Bheem, he has done many negative roles in Bollywood Movies and worked in 50+ movies such as Aaj Ka Arjun, Ajooba, and Ghayal and others.
Actor has also shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan in Shahenshah and Dharmendra in Loha, let us tell you that at the age of 20 he joined the newly formed BSF (Border Security Force) where he drew the attention of his seniors through his athletic skills due to which he represented India at various athletic events in "Discus throw", the actor has also won 4 medals at the Asian Games which Includes two gold medals, a silver medal in the Commonwealth Games and competed in two Olympics.
