Makers of "Dhaakad" denies the rumour about selling office to repay Investors

As we all know after giving 3 back to back hits Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi(2019), Panga (2020) and Thalaivi (2021) her recently released movie "Dhaakad" in this year has miserably failed to entertain the audience. It proved a flopped film for her at the Box office, the movie was helmed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment, Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum films.

Now recently, there is rumour going on in which it is stating that the makers had sold their office to repay the Investors after the movie miserably got flopped at the Box Office. In order to clear these speculations, producer of the film Mr Deepak Mukut has clarified these news during an Interview with Indian Express.

During that interview he called all this news as "Baseless", he said " he has already recovered maximum loss and whatever is left will be recovered in the due course.” He also added that "Dhaakad has also faced a very tough time to get released on OTT due to its poor performance at the box office.

"He has no idea what went wrong because the makers had made Dhaakad with a lot of conviction, it only depends on the audience what they want to watch and what not. But according to them, they feel proud of making a female-led spy action thriller film with a good conviction”, he concluded.

As per reports, the estimated budget of the movie was Rs 85 crores but it only earned Rs 3.77 crore worldwide. After Dhaakad failed at the box office, Kangana wrote on her Instagram Stories, “2019 I gave Manikarnika 160 cr ka superhit hit, 2020 was covid year. 2021 I gave the biggest film of my career Thalaivii which came on OTT and was a huge success. I see a lot of negativity but 2020 is the year of blockbuster—lock up hosting. And it’s not over yet…I have great hopes with it.

Talking about Kangana's workfront, she is working on the film 'Emergency' these days. Apart from this, Kangana will be seen playing an important role in the films 'Tejas', 'Tiku Weds Sheru' and 'Sita: The Incarnation'.
