The Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) has today announced that it has taken a unanimous decision in the light of the coronavirus crisis, the devastating pain and suffering across the country and uncertainty over the reopening of cinemas in Mumbai to push the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival to 2021.

Says the MAMI team, “The postponement of the upcoming edition of the festival, however, doesn’t signal any flagging of our constant effort to galvanise the industry, curate the best Indian cinema for our audience and support our wonderful creators.
