My friend Dr Trinetra Bajpai had presented me with a brand new Alto car and when I was finding it difficult to find a driver , it was SRKs company who sent me a tall man called Haroon and he was the kind of man who worked less for money and more for helping people who were in need.

It was while he was driving me to an event in Bandra that he turned very serious and told me " Khan Sahab ki Mannat mein bahut bada haadsa hone waala hai aur usme Aryan ka naam judaa jaayega .

Main toh wahi bol sakta hoon jo mere dil aur deemag mein aata hai. Meri baat koun sunega , lekin agar sunte toh kaafi logo ka bhala ho sakta hai . Khair apni kismat mein toh drivery likhi hai aur woh karte rahenge jab tak kismat koi aur khel khelta hai "

I surrenderd my new car to my old and good friend because I knew and my wife confirmed that I would never be able to manage a car and driver and. above all that black gold called petrol .

But I didn't forget what Haroon Bhai had told me about the black days for the Khan family from Mannat

It was the month of October 2021 and SRK , his family and friends were wondering whether to have a birthday party for SRK due to the Covid crisis . SRK himself was sitting alone and wondering what to do with all the love he would receive on his birthday .

And it was while he was busy thinking about all these things and much more that SRK received a call from the Narcotics Bureau informing him of the fact that his son Aryan Khan was allegedly arrested by the NCB for not only possessing and even consuming drugs .

Any father in Shah Rukh's place and position could have crumbled and broken down both physically and emotionally . But Shah Rukh the father of Aryan Khan was a Pathan in the true sense and he must have silently vowed that he would go to any extent and even lose his all to redeem the reputation of Aryan , himself and the entire family .

And from that day , it was a battle being fought on various fronts , the battle between the adversaries of SRK and his admirers which were only growing in number after the Aryan Khan case' ,not only in Bharat Varsh but in every Varsh in the world

The battle took Aryan Khan into all kinds of dingy and dirty prisons. The case kept going from one court to another . Some of the highest paid and best lawyers were hired to see that Aryans reputation was saved

There are stories about his being harassed and humiliated by the police. He waa served the same "rice thaali" served to the most common inmates of jails . There was not a night when he slept well , he had to sleep on mattresses spread on the floor ( remember the scene from Sanjiv, the film made by Raj Kumar Hirani) .

I don't want to go into the nitty gritties of the case as it is all is well that ends well and May 28 when Aryan was officially given a clean chit in the entire case , I wonder what feelings must have worked in the minds of the father and the son and the entire Khan family at Mannat

Why I are these things happening in this country ? Why are the powerful looking for equally powerful bakras ? How long will this game go on in the name of Hindus and Muslims ? and how long will young fathers who have struggled all the way to success, their equally successful Gauris and talented children like Suhana and AbRam ?

The new director of the NCB very politely explained the whole gafla saying " humse bhool hogayi" did he realise what havoc that one galti has done to the people effected and even the thousands and millions who are not affected . And emotional attachment is much more powerful than any political , financial or even religious attachment
