Manndakini Bora Says That Rakhi Was The Perfect Fit On Item Number Chappan Churi

Singer Manndakini Bora is out with her new item number titled Chappan Churi. The song features Rakhi Sawant and the singer couldn’t be happier. “Chappan Churi is an item number and I was thinking about singing an item number for a long time. I like Rakhi a lot and she is the perfect fit for my item number, as from Pardesiya to date, I really like her a lot. When I had thought of Chappan Churi, I had told my lyrics writer to think about Rakhi and write it. I had thought of making this video with Rakhi where the music is by Javed Hussain and this is the first item number which is going to release from my production house,” she says.

Talking about Rakhi, she adds, “Dancing requires expressions and I really like Rakhi's expressions and she has an appealing quality. She has that Khatarnak Katilana Andaz and she was the only one on my mind for this song. Munni and Sheila are the songs which everyone has been listening till now and now Chappan Churi will become the new word and Rakhi is a Chappan Churi.”

Talking about her work so far, she says, “I have sung for Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 with Arjit Singh, Karim Mohammad, Band of Maharaja which is not released yet, Nainabawre with Amit Mishra Ji. I have launched my Bhajan videos with T series and my 4-5 songs are already released by Z music, one is Heer other is Mujhse Juda Hona Nahi, also I have sung Jaanu Na. I am a professional singer, I belong to Assam and I have done many movies and albums in Assam. I have performed with celebrity singers such as Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan, Binod Rathod, Ankit Tiwari, Gurdas Maan, the late Bhupen Hazarika and with many more. I have done my vocal training from Lucknow Bhatknande University and have done many shows and albums. Roiyaan is my first Punjabi song whose shoot location was in Jaisalmer and it was released by PTC.”Talking about her future plans, she says, “I can sing any kind of songs, be it semi-classical, Bollywood, romantic, ghazals. For me, there is no limitation in singing and I try a lot that people love all type of songs which I sing.”

Meanwhile, people often confuse her with the actress Mandakini, who did film Ram Teri Ganga Maili and who later became a singer too. Talking about the same, she says, “Both Mandakinis are different as I am Manndakini Bora. I really respect Mandakini and she is one of the best actresses and she is so beautiful and it is one of the best films which I have watched. People can confuse us but they should just verify that Mandakini is an actress and if people will research about me a bit, then they will get to know about me.”
