Manoj Bajpayee Says He Used To Pack Up At 4 Am And Start Drinking Rum & Vodka And Go To Sleep In The Morning For 24 Days

Talking at the recently concluded Actor’s Fest in Mumbai, Manoj Bajpayee recollected the good old days when he was shooting for Ramgopal Varma’s film Kaun in Panvel with Urmila Matondkar and Sushant Singh Rajput and said that he used to shoot for 24 days at a stretch with Urmila Matondkar and Sushant Singh Rajput and pack up only by 4 am when with Sushant Singh Rajput, he used to indulge on a spree of drinking rum or vodka and go to sleep in the morning only to get up by noon and start shooting. The shooting went in for 24 days, he added. He added that it is ironical that today’s actors like say Akshay Kumar and John Abraham do not at all drink and  go to the gym to work out after pack up. Manoj confessed that what you set out to dream and what you get are dynamically different from one another and added that when he was without work, he was actually the happiest man  on earth, because he could get a lot of time to work on himself when the only worry was that his bank balance was reducing on a daily basis and in order to refill the coffers of his bank, he had to take up bad and indifferent projects. I realized that in this industry with success you end up getting many friends but with failure you get none and that  to survive in the industry you have to have a bhais ki chamdi.”
