Manoj Joshi recalls a moment shared with his real life In-Laws

Sony SAB’s upcoming show ‘Mangalam Dangalam’ stars the popular film and television actor Manoj Joshi playing the role of Sanjeev Saklecha, a saree businessman.The show portrays an amusing relationship between Sanjeev Saklecha and his Son-in-Law. While Sanjeev is trying his best to make sure his daughter does not get married and stays at home, his prospective son-in-law leaves no stone unturned in making him say yes to him marrying the daughter, Rumi (Manisha Rawat).

When asked about one of his initial encounters with his real life in-laws,Manoj Joshi fondly recollected a moment that he wanted to share. He said, “My Father-in-Law’s elder brother asked me about my income at the time of my marriage. I used to be a designer then and used to act in plays. I told him, with all honesty, that I wanted to be an actor and did not have a secure life.” He was impressed with Manoj’s confidence when he assured him that he would never disrespect his daughter and keep her happy in every way he could.

Interestingly, Manoj Joshi’s character in the show, Sanjeev Saklecha, is that ofan extremely protective father who is ambitious and is the pillar of the house.
