Mansi Srivastava Joins Mahesh Pandey's Hit Show Vidya!

After playing a grey character in the serial Divya Drashti, actress Mansi Srivastava is all set to turn positive in Mahesh Pandey's latest serial Vidya. The actress will play male lead Namish Taneja’s childhood friend. Talking about her character, Mansi says, “The show has the backdrop of a village, and in the show, I will play a Delhi-based designer, who is bubbly and full of life. The track is like this. While Vivek’s (Namish) mother wants us to get married, I don’t want to come in between him and Vidya as I am aware that they are in deep love with each other.” It is to be noted that Mansi is entering the show around three weeks after her ex-boyfriend, actor Mohit Abrol’s track wound up. They had an ugly break-up one year ago , to be precise, in January 2019 last year, after being in a relationship for not just one, two or five years but eight long years. When asked whether there was any awkwardness about entering the same show close on the heels of Mohit’s exit and also whether she would be comfortable sharing screen space with him in the future, Mansi replies as a matter of fact, with a cool demeanour, “I am focused on my character and nothing else. Even if I had to work with him, it would be as professionals, I have nothing to do with him as a person. As an actress, it is very imperative that I have to deal with the situation in a mature way.” Producer Mahesh Pandey adds, “the audiences will get to see lot of twists and turns in forthcoming episodes of our show Vidya, which is gaining popularity day by day as far as the TRPs are concerned"
