Her husband, Dr. Yogesh Lakhani, is the Chairman and Managing Director of Bright Outdoor Media Pvt Ltd, whose achievements so far proves, how a person can rise from the bottom of the poverty line. He proved that tireless hard work, dedication and good deeds can make a zero person a real life hero. Exactly like her husband, Jagruti has also achieved her success by going through a life of struggle. On the occasion of Jagriti's auspicious birthday on 16th January, let us know about her in some detail.

Jagruti Yogesh Lakhani was born in Surat, Gujarat. She had closely seen the struggling life of great poverty and deprivation. Jagruti's brother and her entire family are also very hardworking and have progressed on the strength of their hard work and dedication. Jagruti was married to Yogesh Lakhani in 1987. As a housewife, she performed all her responsibilities of the family very efficiently. She left no stone unturned to take care of her parents-in-law and children. When Yogesh Lakhani's father passed away, Jagruti became the director of the company. As a housewife, the way she worked with her whole mind and dedication and kept the family tied together, similarly when she became the director of Bright Outdoor Media Limited, she handled  her position with full responsibility and worked with amazing ability. Let us tell you that Bright Outdoor Media Limited has been the most trusted and top most name in the field of outdoor promotions. When we talked about charity, Yogesh ji said, "We have always been doing charity with open arms and also organized parties, this year too I want to do charity and public service and feed the poor. We also give charity to children's orphanages and old age homes and hospitals. I am doing all this and will keep on doing so in the future as well, by  feeding them, distributing medicines and helping them financially. There is a tribal village in Bhiwandi, where there is lot of poverty, I go there too and feed more than twelve hundred to fifteen hundred people. I feel very happy doing all this service.

How did the spirit of charity inculcate in you on the occasion of birthdays ?" On this question, he said, "It just occurred to me that all this money should be spent for the service of the poor, but I do not take pride in it, because I believe that I am not doing anything, everything is being done by the Almighty. Everything is given by him. God has given me, so I am donating. This is my happiness.

I asked Yogesh ji, "But there are many people whom God has provided so much, but no one donates freely like you and Jagruti ji, what would you say about this?" On this he said, "It is their wish. Actually there should be the intention to serve in every one's mind  Everyone should do some charity and no one should forget their old days. We should have the feeling to do something for the society. All people live for themselves, they should live for others as well."

But a personal candle light dinner with Jagriti ji is always possible, isn't it? On this Yogesh ji said smilingly, "Yes of course. In whichever place she says the birthday cake will be cut there.
