MARK WAHLBERG BEATS 'THE ROCK' TO BECOME THE HIGHEST PAID ACTOR IN THE WORLD

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson might have beaten Trump in the prospective 2020 election of becoming The President of the United States but Mark Wahlberg has officially bettered him and taken over the title of the 'Richest Actor In The World' with an estimated earning of $68 million pretax in a 12-month scoring period of Forbes. 

Transformers:The last Night might have scored a miserable rating of 15% on the Rotten Tomatoes and went to become the lowest grosser of the franchise but that has left the rapper-turned-actor undeterred from hiking his pay because he gets a fixed compensation for his films which mean he's going to get the benefits even if the movie doesn't do well. Until last year, Dwayne Johnson was topping the list nevertheless but he continues to bag the second place with $65 million even though Baywatch didn't do well at the box office. The Rock's steadfast and continues to rake in big money owing to his role in HBO's Ballers and the upcoming film Jumanji.
