MATT DAMON AND BEN AFFLECK TO TEAM UP AGAIN

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are reuniting! So what if their contribution is going to be as producers not as actors! This time around these two leading actors are collaborating with Paramount Pictures and Jennifer Todd's Pearl Street Films for a film titled The Shadows—the story of America’s first detectives. Chris Benner will pen down the script for what is expected to be a period thriller, as reported by Hollywood Reporter.

The film will be based on Matthew Pearl’s Boston Globe Magazine article titled Into The Shadows. The project will tell the story of the country's first undercover officers in Boston, which also happens to be the hometown of Damon and Affleck. The Shadows was the first police force to work with criminal informants, clad in plain clothes as they had no designated uniform. This group revolutionised law enforcement because it blurred the lines between right and wrong amidst the xenophobia and hysteria of the nation’s first great immigration wave.

This seems to be an exciting association and we are looking forward to it!
