‘Chief Guest mega-star Jackie Shroff was in a jovial, cheerful yet spiritual mood on stage as he held an ornately-decorated bansuri ( flute) and posed with it like "Lord Krishna".   You will recall that Jackie ( whose real name is Jaikishan) had become immensely popular when he was shown convincingly playing the flute on-screen in his debut-hero musical super-hit movie ‘Hero’ (1983)

Mega-star Jackie Shroff  ( who is a staunch Krishna-bhakt in real-life) was posing with the flute on stage at a late- afternoon event held by Manndakini Productions. They were proud to release a soul-stirring pre-Krishna Jamastami spiritual haunting song centered on the timeless love story of Radha ji and Krishna ji titled "Shyaam Lagan''. This melodious masterpiece, sung by a gifted female vocalist, Manndakini Bora promises to touch the hearts of listeners with its enchanting verses and divine essence.  Also, present at the event as special guests  were veteran celeb composer-singer Dilip Jamal Sen and popular star composer-singer Manmeet  Singh Gulzar ( of ‘Meet Brothers’ duo  fame)

Notably, the song features a star-studded cast of exceptionally talented Riva Arora and Shlok Sahni, including highly talented musicians like Javed Hussain who has directed the music & composed the melody, Pyasa Anjum who has penned the sacred lyrics, Aslam Khan who has choreographed & directed the song. While the concept is designed by Harvansh Pandit, Shiv Shakti has done an extraordinary job as the DOP. Their exceptional artistry has elevated the song to a whole new level of transcendence.

Reacted Jackie,  “ Yes,  I am aware that millions of fans are appreciating my powerful look in ‘Jailer’.  But let me share with you that its more of a ‘guest appearance’ and I have only a few scenes.
