Mehar & Sarabjit Revisit The Golden Era For COLORS' New Year Special - Wakhra Swag 2020

The popular show Choti Sarrdaarni has been receiving immense love and appreciation from the audiences. Recently for a New Year special episode the lead artists of the show Mehar (Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia) and Sarabjit (Avinesh Rekhi) will be seen recreating magic of the Bollywood's legendary jodis Raj Kapoor and Nargis, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh and Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

Performing in absolute retro style and adding Bollywood vibe to their act and costumes, the duo is set to take everyone down the memory lane. Being the doting husband that he is, Sarabjit fulfills Mehar's wishes of going back to the classic era as they perform to Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte.

Commenting on her look, Nimrit said, "I feel honoured donning the look of some of Bollywood's legendary actors and it was like paying an ode to them. I have grown up listening and dancing to all these songs and I hope we did some justice to it. Avinesh added, "In keeping with the name of the event,  the costumes added a lot of yesteryear's swag to our performance. It was an exciting experience to step out of the usual and get into the black and white mode. There cannot be a better start to the new year.
