While the whole nation is busy celebrating the conviction of Gurmeet Singh, a self-proclaimed godman, in two 15-year-old rape cases, there are some public figures who are still standing in support of him. One of them is the very popular rapper Mika Singh.
The musician must have been high on something, because he took a step that can probably destroy his career and reputation completely. Instead of condemning Gurmeet for his actions, the music legend wished him "all the best" on Twitter just before the judgement. On August 25, the day of the judgement, this is what Mika Singh posted from his official account:
And Twitter went berserk, and rightly so.

King Mika, as he has named himself, had not even apologised on Twitter, when he became part of another controversy on Facebook, abusing a fan who took a dig at his tweet.
In the recent past, several celebrities have post insensitive comments on social media about issues that affect the nation. It's high time they realised their social responsibility instead of ranting away at their whims.
