Mohit Dagga: Perfumes can communicate, create the ideal ambience, become an integral part of one's identity, work their enchantment on the mind, and leave a lasting impression that is hard to forget. Whether it's the appeal of luxury, the desire to feel refreshed, or the quest for a signature scent, people are enamoured by perfumes' transformative and intoxicating nature. Speaking of which, television actor Mohit Dagga, currently seen as Ashok in &TV’s family drama Doosri Maa has a strong affinity for perfumes and finds them captivating. He firmly believes that fragrances go beyond simply providing a pleasant scent. To him, perfumes hold the key to revisiting cherished memories and special moments, invoking feelings of happiness and nostalgia.
Mohit shares his fascination with Perfumes, saying, “Perfumes have always held a special place in my heart. Ever since I was a child, I've been captivated by delightful scents, and as I grew older, my fascination with using and collecting perfumes grew stronger. My day feels incomplete without spritzing that magical mist over my body. I have turned collecting perfume bottles into a full-blown hobby! I have more than 40 bottles in rotation, and I've amassed over 100 bottles from around the globe. And each perfume bottle I acquire carries a unique memory with it. Every fragrance captured in these bottles brings back personal moments from the past. Those special memories come alive whenever I spray them as if I'm reliving the first time, I wore that perfume. It's like stepping into a time machine, where the power of scent transports me to cherished moments. And that’s not all! I have a special wardrobe solely dedicated to housing my perfume collection. It's a treasure trove of scents, ranging from warm and woody to oriental and fresh. My collection has it all! So, you see, my love for perfumes is more than just enjoying pleasant smells. It's a journey filled with nostalgia, personal memories, and the joy of exploring various captivating fragrances. It's a delightful adventure that always makes me smile.”
Mohit adds, “During my recent trip to Dubai, I couldn't resist indulging in the country's renowned perfumes. The collections I encountered left me awestruck, leading me to purchase a staggering 16 unique bottles. Each fragrance possesses its own alluring scent, captivating my senses. Some perfumes boast mood-enhancing properties, such as lavender’s soothing and relaxing essence. Among my treasured collection is an attar gifted to me by my revered Guru Ji, holding a special place in my heart as the highlight of my perfumes. As a connoisseur, I firmly believe in the power of always smelling good. It has become an essential part of my life, something I never compromise on. Whether day or night, a long-lasting and delightful perfume leaves a positive impression of who I am and invigorates and uplifts my spirits. The perfect fragrance complements my appearance and enhances my overall beauty. The perfumes I've carefully curated possess the ability to create a joyful ambience and foster a positive environment for both me and those around me. Regularly using these perfumes bolsters my self-esteem and fuels my enthusiasm for life. And countless more authentic scents are awaiting my exploration, adding to the allure of my fragrant journey.”
