Kids’ favorite comic characters Motu and Patlu achieved another milestone today. Now you can see the wax statue of these characters in Delhi’s Madame Tussauds. People from Delhi – NCR and all across India are coming to visit their favorite cartoon characters Motu and Patlu. On this special occasion, lotpot magazine’s publisher and editor Mr P.K. Bajaj, Mr Harvinder Makkar, writer and cartoonist of Motu Patlu, Suhas Kadav , tv series director, Neeraj Vikram , show writer and Nupur Saxena from Viacom, nickelodeon were present. The General Manager of Madame Tussauds, Mr Anshul Jain said that there was a void in this museum for kids’ but Motu Patlu has filled in that position.
Mr P.K. Bajaj also talked about the starting days of lotpot magazine. This year, lotpot magazine has completed 50 years. The placement of Motu Patlu figures in Madame Tussauds in the golden jubilee year of lotpot magazine is the best gift.
Writer and cartoonist Mr Harvinder Makkar said that we have a long way to go and this is just the starting. Suhas Kadar and Neeraj Vikram candidly talked about their experience on television and how it was challenging to bring cartoon characters alive on tv. Motu patlu has become the pride of Madame Tussauds because of the hardwork of Mr Aman Bajaj, Mr Ketan Mehta, Neena Jaipuria, Anu Sikha and the whole team of lotpot has put in which in itself is historic.
