Duration: 2 hours 14 minutes Many films including 'Kala Patthar' have been made on accidents inside coal mines. Now Vashu Bhagnani and Ajay Kapoor have rescued 65 miners trapped in the accident that took place inside the Mahabir coal mine of Raniganj, West Bengal on 13 November 1989 by mining engineer Sardar Jaswant Singh this has brought the film "Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue" based on the true events of the rescue operation that was carried out to save him alive. While the story of this film, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, seven years after the direction of 'Rustam', is the story of Jaswant Gill's wisdom and vitality, this film is also about people with different thinking coming together in a difficult situation to fight the adversity and come out. It is also a story. It is also a story of the struggle of life. Story: At the center of the story is mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill (Akshay Kumar), apart from saving the people trapped in an accident inside a coal mine, who has no room for indifferent attitude in his work. He fires an incompetent employee, who goes to his gangster boss for help. The Raniganj area for Gill is new. Gill is a strict disciplinarian, but he cares about his people. He considers himself more of a miner than an engineer. He still doesn't know about most of his miners when the disaster occurs. Gill loses six miners, but he is unwilling to leave 65 people to die while everyone else has given up hope. When the news of the Mahabir coal mine flooding accident is received, Jaswant Gill forgets that his wife innocent Kaur Gill (Parineeti Chopra) is about to become a mother. He gets engaged in the campaign to save 65 people trapped in this accident. Then they get the help of Bindal (Pawan Malhotra), an expert in welding work. Union leader Govardhan Roy (Rajesh Sharma) is also with him. Tapan Ghosh (Virendra Saxena) also comes forward to help them. At the same time, some people including D Sen are busy taking advantage of this disaster for personal gain. These people want to defame Jaswant Singh Gill and his boss Ujjwal (Kumud Mishra). Review: Technology was not good in the 1970s, yet Yash Chopra was successful in making an excellent and entertaining film "Kala Patthar" based on the Chasnala mining disaster, alas, now with the presence of all the modern technology and resources, Suresh Tinu Desai he could not accomplish the feat. This film is quite weak at the technical level. The coal mine set made in London is also weak and poor. All three writers have written only a messy script. The unreliable script, average direction, and shallow performances push the audience into a dark abyss. The writers emphasized only on such scenes which could garner sympathy from the audience for Akshay Kumar's character. Due to this, many powerful artists including Varun Wadola were not portrayed properly. Before the interval, the film disappoints more than necessary. But after the interval, the thirty minutes of thrilling scenes of the rescue operation definitely give some relief to the audience. The dialogue of the film is weak according to its background and environment. There are not one or two but five musicians in the film, yet the songs of the film are its weakest aspect. Acting: Akshay Kumar has performed well in the role of Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill wearing a turban. I love the way Gill humorously asks the family members of the stranded miners to bring fresh home-cooked food to keep the situation from becoming tense during the crisis. Kumud Mishra in the role of Ujjwal and Pawan Malhotra in the role of Bindal once again prove themselves to be excellent actors. Parineet Chopra in the role of Gill's wife did nothing but look beautiful. Dibyendu Bhattacharya in the role of D Sen impresses with his clever acting. The acting of all the other actors including Sudhir Pandey, Ravi Kishan, Varun Wadola, Rajesh Sharma, Gaurav, Virendra Saxena, and Shishir Sharma is good. - Shantiswarup Tripathi #Bollywood latest News #Bollywood latest News Today #bollywood news #Bollywood #Akshay Kumar #Bollywood News In Hindi #bollywood gossips #mayapuri cut #capsule gill #mission movie #mission raniganj #mission raniganj movie review in hindi #Mission Raniganj Review #mission raniganj review deeksha sharma #mission raniganj review suraj kumar #mission raniganj review teaser #mission raniganj trailer Related Articles Advertisment Latest Stories Read the Next Article
