Mr. Bachchan, The Khans And Stars Like Akshay And Ajay Seem To Be In A Strange Fix These Days

Ali Peter John

Who could ever have imagined that there would have been such a strong wedge between two groups of stars and film makers on one contentious issue?

This issue of the CAA, NPR and the NRC have really divided the industry into two different classes and these two classes have now reached a stage when those who used to look each other with love and concern Are now looking at each other with hate and suspicion.

The likes of Anurag Kashyab, Swara Bhaskar, Vishal Bharadwaj, Vishal Dadlani, Varun Grover, and to a large extent even Deepaka Padukone are counted among one class who are against these acts which they feel are draconian and anti-Indian, anti-citizen, they are also openly joining the protestors in Shaheen Baug and other Baugs of fire where thousands of women are protesting all through day and night and they are protesting as if they nothing to lose

And has a daring man like Anurag Kashyab openly challenges the Prime Minister to show and the nation  the birth certificate of his father and his degree certificates in “entire Political Science” and say “history will spit on the face of this animal” He means Mr. Shah”, this same group looks in contempt at our big stars like AB, SRK, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and even Saif Ali Khan who they say are  maintaining a very safe and secure slience and they are only interested in their own secure and cocoons and are not bothered about the country which has made them what they are.

These are the men who are now, I think on chairs which have tenterhooks and every nails and how long they will they sit secure there is something history will be eagerly waiting to be a witness to.
