The lively and petite Marathi actress Mrunmayee Deshpande who was seen in films like Katyaar Kaljaat Ghusali, Shikari, Farzaand and Natsamrat tuned a producer with great enthusiasm with her Marathi film Anurag shot in the picturesque locales of Leh and Ladakh, a first for a Marathi film. Though she was nursing a dream to turn a director with her film Atrava Unta some time back, now it is learnt that Mrunmayee will be making her directorial debut with a film called Que Sera Sera, ubnder her own home production banner called Mrunmayee Deshpande Creations.
Mrunmayee adds, “I always wanted to be a director; this is not a sudden decision. I was working on the script for my debut film for four years and have three more scripts ready. I was just waiting for the right time. Hopefully, by August-September, we shall release it. It is based on relationships and a couple’s rollercoaster ride after an interesting episode on their honeymoon night,” says Mrunmayee.
