Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein actor Mudit Nayar's short film 'Driving Me Crazy' has been released on Zee5. The film marks his debut in the OTT space and it’s subject revolves around the increasing popularity of online dating apps. Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja stars opposite Mudit in this short.
Mudit who is from Prayagraj has himself never used any online dating apps - he is married to a lawyer named Aparajita Shrivastava. Speaking on the occasion Mudit said "I and Aparajita met via a common friend and one thing led to another. When I met her, I instantly knew she was the one. I never used apps and find it a bit difficult to relate to them. Many of my friends use it. I feel that it may be great to meet new people, but finding the love of your life is an altogether different experience. Maybe I am old school."
Mudit has portrayed several challenging characters on-screen.
Continuing the conversation Mudit said "OTT is THE FUTURE. The pandemic has been able to give a massive leap to the OTT platforms. I knew the writer-director Purnima Lamchhane as a journalist - when she narrated me the story; I was instantly attracted to the character and said Yes. The crew team including the DOP, the editor, the music director and the producer were fabulous. It was a pleasure working with Tina Ahuja, she is very real and down to earth. I am inundated with messages of people loving the film.”
We too wish Mudit all the best for this one!
