Commenting on the launch, Karishma Govil, Founder of Clap Clap, “One of the biggest reasons for me to launch this magazine, on my birthday is that this year I lost someone very close to me, one of the biggest mentors of my life - my grandmother. She happened to be one of India's most legendary icons and was known for her show that lasted 21 years on 'Door Darshan'. She was known as the first lady of Indian Television. Tabassum Govil, my dadiji, was fondly known as Baby Tabassum as she started working at the age of 3 and that gave me the inspiration to work hard and carve a niche of my own as she did. When she was amongst us I never really bragged about the fact that I was related to her in any way. But now that she’s gone I realize that it’s a moment of pride and an honor to be related to her. I've been so lucky that whenever I was around her I used to learn new things. Whether it's Urdu, a Shayari, a joke, or a way of life like one of her favorite phrases, 'the show must go on'. This launch and the magazine are a small tribute to my dadiji for what she’s done for us and for the entire world.”
