Munisha Khatwani Says That She Can Really Relate To Her Character In Tantra

Munisha Khatwani, who is part of the show Tantra, is making her comeback after 10 years. The actor is excited and loves being back. “I made a comeback on TV after 10 years and I feel great. It is a little hectic because I am not used to the life of daily soaps anymore. But it's a great feeling and I am happy to be back on air and back on the sets. I am feeling very happy about it. I would like to thank Swatik Productions and Siddharth Kumar Tewary for thinking me worthy of this role and casting me and Colors also for keeping me on board. I play Munisha Mami, I am playing myself on the show. I am playing Juhi and Manish’s sister in law. I am the young mami of the house because I am always into dressing up and am into beauty, makeup. I am a socialite who is always keen on seeing her pictures in the newspapers. I feel I can really relate to my character. There is not much acting and effort required as I am the same in real life. I think this is the reason why the production house and especially Siddharth Kumar Tewary thought of casting me into this role.”

While its tough to be on the sets constantly, Munisha makes sure to relax once she gets home. “I unwind by coming home and reading a book or catching up on a movie. This is my way of unwinding. Apart from that, I enjoy with my costars- Manish Goel, Juhi Parmar and Harsh Vashisht. So, these are the three people I get along with. I am paired opposite Harsh Vashisht and Manish and Juhi are playing my brother-in-law and sister-in-law,” she says.The show revolves around spirits and superstitions. Ask Munisha is she believes in them, and she says, “I do believe in spirits and superstitions as it’s part of my field as I am Tarot card reader in real life. I believe that they exist. The title of the show is very catchy and very interesting. It’s based completely on tantra and black magic that can happen in our family and all the obstacles they have to face.  I found the subject very interesting therefore I decided to take the plunge and go for it. I am looking forward to a great super successful show and a great association.”
