Munshi Premchand's 138th birth anniversary celebrated in Mumbai

Playwright and author, Munshi Premchand’s 138th birth anniversary gives us a chance to look back at some of his great works such as ‘Godaan’ and ‘Pratigya’. Premchand was known to address various social issues of society in the hundreds of novels and plays that he penned down throughout his life.

His work captures the imagination of people till date and his signature working-class characters remain evergreen. So, An event organized to celebrate India’s most iconic storyteller - Munshi Premchand’s Godan 138th birth anniversary at Jindal Mansion, Pedder Road, Mumbai.
