MUSIC COMPOSER ATIF AFZAL AND ABHIJEET SAWANT COME TOGETHER FOR A REPRISED VERSION OF 'YE NA' FROM SHREYAS TALPADE STARRER FILM 'BAJI'

Music composer Atif Afzal had wanted to make a reprised version of his composed song 'Ye Na' along with Abhijeet Sawant since a long time as the song is close to his heart and Abhijeet Sawant had justified each note of his composition.Although Atif Afzal isn't aware of Marathi language that well, but he had pulled off the entire album of the film 'Baji' beautifully, all of the songs were chartbusters in Marathi. Shreyas Talpade and director Nikhil Mahajan along with the producers was extremely happy with the album.

'Ye Na' is special to Atif as it was the first song from the album which he cracked in literally 10 mins. This has never happened with him again till date.Atif and Abhijeet recently came together to create the reprised version of song 'Ye Na' to celebrate 5 years of 'Baji'. This version was to be released earlier but got delayed due to the pandemic.Atif Afzal Says, "It is always a great experience to recreate or relive your own songs. Both me and Abhijeet lived with the song for 5 years and we had our own improvisations that we did while performing this song again. The songs I compose become a part of me and I love to celebrate it. 'Ye Na' is one of my favorite tracks I have written and so is 'Jag Saare Badle' from the film 'Pune 52' which was sung by Shalmali Kholgade. I hope to perform it with Shalmali soon!"

Abhijeet Sawant says, "I am glad Atif thought of creating a reprised version of the song, had a great time recreating it. It's always fun working with Atif, I remember while recording the original track it happened so fast by the time the Producer and Director could reach the studio we had wrapped."We hope to see this duo come together more often to give us a melodious treat.
