A Very beautiful and versatile actress Ishita Ganguly roped in Tv show 'Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi' for role of goddess Kali, which will telecast on Star Bharat Channel from 30th September 2019 at 9:30pm. Ishita have done many TV shows like Shastri Sisters, Peshwa Bajirao, Prithvi Vallabh and many more. She is excited for this role because her family believes alot in Kali Maa. She is from Kolkata, a place where Kali Maa is worshiped in every corner of the city, people have tremendous faith in her.

Ishita Ganguly comments "I am very excited about this role, because my family worships goddess Kali Maa and I am blessed to play her role. In coming episode audience will see me in Kali's roop, which have many shades. When I informed my mother she was jumping in happiness that i got this role, she was contentiously thanking Kali Maa, as she gave me this opportunity. From generations we are worshiping her. Till now I have played various kind of characters like traditional, modern , historical, etc but I feel playing religious role helps the actor to get more respect in audience. In real life I am very spiritual person and I do worship and believe Kali Maa. She has always done good for me. Its only her blessings that i will play goddess Kali on the TV screen."
