Among the latest sensations on the music horizon is stunningly charming  pop-singer-live performer-glam-actress Swati Bhatt, whose trending ‘single’ musical video ‘Khab Jale Hain’ (KJH) on ‘B4U Music’’ is being  appreciated by music-buffs.  Asked what was different and challenging about this song, the classically-trained gaayika Swati shrugs, “This  single track had a male voice scale key as originally it was a duet, but  finally it was changed to a female solo.   So while recording this solo song I had to also resort to falsetto  notes,” smiles the Bhatt beauty, whose oomph-screen-presence and sensuous-swag dancing moves in ‘KJH’ ( shot at Reflextion Bar) has viewers going gaga.. “ Honestly, I am not a formally trained dancer, but  I was made to groove-sway gracefully in the video by eminent choreographer Shampa Gopikrishna , “ informs Swati , who is a self-confessed ardent admirer of star-actor John Abraham and aspires to work with him.

“ Not just John’s macho looks and cool performances, but also his off-screen kind-hearted, dignified demeanour fascinates me, “ insists the exuberant model-actress.      The ‘Khaab Jale..’  track is brilliantly composed by  percussion-rhythm wizard Nishadh Chandra , who happens to be the son of  iconic Bollywood playback singer Poornima (Sushma) Shreshtha . The single has  amazing lyrics written by Parth Shah while the video is directed by Parth Rajyaguru. Interestingly, the light-eyed Swati has acted in the title-role of ‘Jassi’ in this popular period drama-play ‘Raunaq & Jassi’ directed by Feroz Abbas Khan which has merited rave reviews. Eminent senior actor-film-maker Sachin Pilgaonkar even cast Swati in the cameo role of a European blonde-girl club-singer in his romantic movie ‘’Ashi Hi Aashiqui’, which was also shot on Swiss locales.

Meanwhile composer Nishadh who is close to the same Sachin and has collaborated with him professionally for various  movie-tracks including that of  ‘Ashi Hi Aashiqui’ shares his inputs on ‘KJH’  “While just fiddling with a sound I found in my software --it reminded me of a popular retro (1994) rainy-mood song.  I tried to doodle something on the keyboard with the sound I found and composed a melody hook-line just for fun sake. Lyricist Parth Shah, had sent me some lyrics a few days ago and  I just hummed a tune using the same verses and the song ‘Khaab Jale..’ instantly took shape.. I produced and composed the entire song around the retro hook line I created inspired by the same retro-song. At that time I never imagined that this would be the first single I will be releasing under my own banner.

I wanted it to be a groovy song with the ‘90s flavour.which, when people would hear it, they would tap their feet to the beats. Originally planned that it would be a duet, but an idea struck me of having a female only to sing the song. My go-to voice is always Swati Bhatt. So we jammed, hooked up and she dubbed the song. We got the song ‘KJH’  mixed and mastered not knowing it’s future. But finally here it is today, with the support of so many of my good friends. We are confident that the single will be a toofani-thunder audio-visual treat for music-lovers in the rainy season,”signs off Nishadh, who like his famous senior playback singer mom Poornima also has plans to record his vocals, because “it runs in my genes” .

Interestingly, Swati’s dream-hero happens to be  “macho star-actor John Abraham” whom she admires “
