MYSTERY BEHIND KAREENA KAPOOR'S WEDDING LEHENGA IN VEERE DI WEDDING

The leading four ladies in Veere di Wedding were looking completely gorgeous in the movie. It was Kareena Kapoor's comeback film after her pregnancy and we never felt like she was ever on a break because the actor looked even more flawless than ever in Veere di Wedding. Kareena's stunning look in the movie wearing beautiful bridal lehenga were making rounds in social media soon after the stills came out.

Kareena was looking flawless in embellished off-shoulder yellow lehenga with boho hairdo. The modern bride look was designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla which made the attire look classy yet quirky wedding outfit we have seen so far.

But there is another mystery about that wedding lehenga which adds more beauty to the dress and that is the vintage look of the dress is 25 years old. Yes, you read it right, the beautiful outfit was created more than two decades back.

Designer Sandeep explained, "Veere's wedding garment is actually a vintage garment of Abu Sandeep. It's something that we made 25 years ago. It was lying in our coffers...Rhea came to the factory and we started digging out a whole trunk and and taking out old pieces. So then, we just reinvented it. The skirt remains the same. The blouse remains pretty much the same. Of course, it was altered to Kareena's size. Then we created a dupatta and just modernised it slightly. At the wedding time (in the movie), everybody is in AJSK vintage, which is great fun'’
