NACHTE NACHTE DEKHO , NORA FATEHI KAHA AA GAYI -- Ali Peter John

        Some twenty years ago, Hema Malini said that all problems in life could be solved by dance .I  don't know how many of Hema's problems have been solved by dance, but the fact that she keeps dancing even  today at 73 must be her secret to still be beautiful,  active, alert and very alive to the circumstances around... 

      And now Hema's secret to find success is being seen in a young actress who is originally from Morocco and who was brought up in Canada and who has found her way to Hindi flims, all because of her love for dance , especially her love for the kind of dances in Hindi flims . 

     Nora's family was orthodox and dance was considered to be something bad for girls and even a sin.  Nora  however  could not resist her temptation to dance and used to dance whenever her family was away and she had to go through a strange and long struggle to keep her passion and temptation to dance alive . 

         It was this passion that finally brought her to Mumbai and within a short time the flim industry came to know that she was a good dancer , a model and also an actress.  

        It was this combination that got her the first break in a flim called "Roar "- the sound of the Sundarbans . The flim did not roar at the box office , but all those who saw the flim noticed her talent to dance and word about her spread in the industry.  The girl born in Morocco and trained in Canada had finally found her destination.  She couldn't go back now because there were many other doors willing to open for her . 

       But , she had to wait for some time to be recognized as an actress which was her ultimate ambition.  She knew that she would have to go through the struggle if she really wanted to make it big ... 

        And she found a genuinely good response when she did an item number in "Baahubali " . The flim was a roaring hit and did a world of good to everyone associated with it and Nora Fatehi was no exception.  She was now wanted to do many more item numbers in flims made in the South in Tamil,  Telugu and the other major languages of the South. 

The only time she got an opportunity to work as a lead player was in "Mr. X"with Emraan Hashmi as her leading man, the flim was directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, which was a further boost to her career.

       Nora was soon recognized for her singing talent and so what if she was not asked to sing for Hindi flims , she had major music albums brought out in the Moroccan and Tanzanian language and she was a name to reckon with all over the Gulf ,  the African countries, Canada and even parts of America and Europe.  

Had she become a big star ? Not yet . She had to make a mark in Hindi cinema of the Mumbai kind . 

     It was when she needed that big break desperately that she was offered a major role in Remo Dsouza's flim "Street Dancer 3D" with Prabhu Deva and his dancing genius as her only competition.  I will be doing injustice to the other actors like Varun Dhawan,  and Shradha Kapoor if I don't mention them and their valuable contribution to make the flim a hit . 

        Nora was on the right track at this stage of her career and what followed in her career had made sure of her staying back to stay alive and face many other challenges and win the way she wanted to win . 

      She was also busy being a part of some successful reality shows like Big Boss and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and these shows made her a name in almost every home hungry for entertainment and wherever entertainment was needed. She was now called " Miss all round entertainer ", a tittle given to her by the aam aadmi which was a better and bigger award for her than many other awards given away in every nook , corner and gully 

      Another big achievement for her  has been a contract she has signed with T-Series  in which she will be seen as the star of music albums and even as the leading lady of flims made under the T-Series banner.  

        It is perhaps her Moroccan background that has kept her away from controversies which are a part of any young success story today . 

And if Nora Fatehi continues her journey in the right direction and keeps away from all that is wrong,  it will not be long when Nora is accepted as a complete actress and is considered to be a tough competition for all the big girls in the game. 

We can only wish her all the very best , but the rest depends on her and how she carries herself to the goal she has in mind.
